No Flintstones? No Bullwinkle? No Johnny Quest? No Superfriends? No Star Trek cartoon?
And you mention Battle of the Planets (which I knew as G-Force), but not Speed effing Racer? (not that I could ever stand anime crap anyway)
Ultraman was my Power Rangers. Of course we had American live-action stuff, too, like the Sid & Marty Kroft shows (Banana Splits, H.R. Puff’n’stuff, Sigmund and the Sea Monster, Land of the Lost). And I’m not positive, but I think the Monkees were on Saturday mornings, too.
I’m no spring chicken, but this episode made me feel like I pre-date indoor plumbing. Thanks a lot! 😉
We knew going in that if we just tried to hit everything…well…we’d STILL be recording. This is going to be one of those episodes that gets revisited I’m certain, but thanks for giving us a great list to think about for next time 🙂
