  1. Japanese?! Mandarin!!!

    You make me sad.

    Great episode, nevertheless!

Favorite crew- Simon, the guy who had it all and gave it up to save his sister
Favorite villain- YoSaffBridge on TV, but the Operative was even better
Favorite episode- Our Mrs. Reynolds- so many great scenes and quotes from that one:
from Jayne and Mal in the drag scene, to the “special hell” running gag, to
Jayne trying to trade his gun “Vera” for Saffron, to Inara lying about why she
    passed out.
Favorite quote from the movie: After Simon says his biggest regret is not having been with her, Kaylee: You mean to say…like…sex?
    Simon: I mean to say.
Kaylee: Oh, the hell with THIS. I’m gonna LIVE.

  2. James Hatton on Podcast Rob’s rendition of James Bond Theme at triple speed:
    “Sounds contemporary!”

This is why these podcasts work, IMHO.

Now something on the actual content:
I was one of those poor bastards trying to navigate the constant scheduling changes to see them on TV… The box set was a welcome offering just to see the episodes in the DAMN ORDER THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO AIR. Grrr Fox!! Just… GRRRRRRrrrr

  3. Also, if you hadn’t played the theme song at the end, I MIGHT’VE been able to avoid binge watching the whole series again. THANKS…. THANKS A LOT!! 😉

  4. I did like the episode with “the guy from that Crow movie” in it. I think it was how detached he was from how creepy/psychotic he was. It was weird though, as at least on Netflix, it was the last episode, so it seemed like a strange one to end on.

    Favorite quote:
Mal: You don’t know me, son, so let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you’ll be awake. You’ll be facing me, and you’ll be armed.

    or

Zoë: Jayne. This is something the captain has to do for himself.
    Mal: No. No, it’s not!
    Zoë: Oh!
