As nerdy types, we’ve all kind of thought to ourselves ‘So, who would win.. Hulk or Superman’ or ‘Iron Man vs. Everyone on the Titanic’ – well, a small team headed off by two massively talented rappers have taken the youtubes by storm by pitting famous characters and people from all throughout time and space against each other. I was going to try and put a rhymey rappy introduction to this week’s episode to keep it thematic, but seriously, it would have been horrible and you would have made fun of me for it.. and you all do that enough, so just imagine this all rhymes. Orange.

Yeah, you can’t take the Cast from me…. that barely works, but we’re going with it because we are back with our first episode out in the ‘Verse.. specifically the Whedonverse, focussing on those kinda bad guys doin’ kinda bad stuff for all the good reasons. Episode 37 – Epic Fantasy
The two men, armed with their wits, a giant sword, a couple of shields, a nearly dead horse, and on they went to the mysterious fantastical land of magic and creatures that could tear them asunder without even blinking. Yet, here they go… the Somethings are taking a journey into the land of fantasy. They will climb grand mountains to deposit jewelry, they’ll go to school to face he who probably shouldn’t be mentioned. They’ll rip a sword out of a rock in the hopes to ascend to royalty.
It’s time for the Somethings to be what they haven’t been before… Fantastic.

Episode 36 – The Hatton Episode.. no, really.
This episode started as was planned. The Somethings had a list, they were ready to riff on some stuff they knew about.. and lo and behold it all changed in one fail swoop. One of the Somethings decided that he should blindside the other Something into an entire episode about .. well .. one of the Somethings. Apparently, a webcomic’s 10 year anniversary was enough of a reason to go all James Lipton on what should have been a podcast about dragons. FINE. THANK YOU. I GUESS… Geez.
Anyway – yes, this podcast focuses mostly on the life and times of one James Hatton, webcomic creator, and all around nifty guy. You like dots? This episode has TONS of em’.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Welcome to the first episode of the New Year with the Somethings! Sometimes what makes or breaks a great movie is a great soundtrack. If you were to film your grand fantasy epic and not call on the sweet sound of Tangerine Dream, we know your movie will fail. So are going to talk about some of the great movies that we love specifically because you can listen to one of the songs and you are immediately transported back to the world created. I have very little funny to say here, honestly.. so instead I’ll remind you guys that we need you guys to submit some of your topics over to our Facebook page and email so we can keep stealing your ideas! (I kid)
