There are movies that the Somethings agree about… Highlander.
There are movies that the Somethings disagree about… Mars Attacks.
The Invitation definitely fits into one of those categories.
A group of people are invited (get it?) to a dinner party where they haven’t seen each other in quite a long time and have a sordid history. So why are they there? Is it supposed to feel so uncomfortable? Are they getting suckered into buying Amway?
All good things come to an end, and this show is one that the Somethings were dreading seeing go.
Dipped in controversy, suspected to never complete their story, Netflix pulled off the near impossible of finishing it without it’s primary star.
What happens when the House finally comes to an end? Did they do it justice or was it so far gone that a stiff breeze could topple it? Find out on the 10th episode of The End: House of Cards.
In the last month or two a documentary came out talking about one of the strangest theories of the last couple decades.. is it a sign that perhaps we were wrong about the make up of our universe or is it the inevitable problem of what happens when everybody finds a friend on the internet?
Well, join Podcast Rob and Hatton on Episode 134as they deep dive into the documentary Behind The Curve, available on Netflix, which discusses the possibility that this planet we all know and love (planet here meaning a celestial body moving in an elliptical orbit around a star.)
Two other notes – first, the end song of today’s show is “Turtles All The Way Down” by New Jersey legends A Halo Called Fred. You can find the whole song right here. And their YouTube Channel right here! Thanks for the assist, you crazy kids!

We have some show updates as well as we take it to the ring to discuss Netflix’s and Jenji Kohen’s big summer party. Driving in a wood panel van straight into the 80’s with the big hair, big gimmicks, and big coke addictions… that’s right – it’s GLOW time!
So what do the boys think of the squared circle filled with the ladies and Marc Maron? Well you should settle in and find out.
Ok, here we go!
You seem to be doing ok. You’re taking some anger management courses. The agency is doing ok. You have an associate in Malcolm. What could go wrong?
Probably a bad question in Hells Kitchen, eh?
That’s right, the Somethings are back tackling the hard drinking hard hitting purple fearing badass bitch of the Netflix MU, and we tell you what we think from top to bottom. Did we love it? Did we hate it? There’s only one way to find out. Smile and click below.
Two quick asides. The first, we want to congratulate our sponsor Quixotic Games for selling out of the first printing of Dungeon Alliance. Here’s to a hundred more.
Second, at the beginning of the episode there are a couple of words about our friends the Epic Film Guys. Please, check out their Livestream For The Cure on May 18-20th.
Now though… time to go!
What have you fallen for?
I mean, come on.. we’ve all bought into one thing or another, right? Whether it is the Piltdown Man, the supposed Missing Link – or if its any number of Think Geek projects, there is always someone out to get you.
Well not us – of course not – never us… we promise… What we do want to do is tell you about some of our favorite historical hoaxes. From recent internet stuffs to pieces from the past, Hatton and Rob are talking about the biggest hoaxes the world has ever seen and the people that fell for them.

Ok here we go!
It was the night of the biggest sports game in the country. Millions upon millions watched the one team go and defeat the other one. There was a bird one and a soldier one or something like that. Anyway, a commercial popped up informing everyone that right after the ball was done being foot’d, Netflix was going to take over millions of living rooms with the third in the Cloverfield Series.
So with social media abuzz over it, of course the Somethings watched it and have opinions!
So how was it? What was it? How does it relate? Did JJ Abrams give us another Super 8, or another Lost?
Joining us this week to talk all things Clover are old Something Friends, Katie Cullen (@kiaxet) & Megan Salinas (@themenguin) from both AfterBuzz TV and their horror podcast, Silver Screams (@silver_screams) which you can find on Youtube!
So strap in to the first big viral sensation of the year and see how it ranks.
Ok here we go!
It’s time for a little one batch two batch…
And if you are a fan of the show, you know what that means. Marvel episode. Netflix episode. Oh.. that’s right.. Tim Stevens Episode.
The three of us slowly pick apart the enemy and drive our hammers hard into the bones of the newest Netflix Marvel U show. Did lightning strike again like it did with Daredevil or did it swing and miss like Iron Fist? Shots will be fired, so get yourselves cocked, locked, and loaded… …uhm..gun.
If you want a little background on our favorite Marvel buddy, you can find out about Mr. Steven’s Curricula Vitae at Tim Stevens Is Ungajje – His work at Marvel.com – Or lastly, be his friend on Twitter.
Ok here we go!
It’s time to go back to the umop apisdn (that doesn’t work if you use a weird font) ..anyway, it’s time to head on back and see what’s going on in the eeriest of Indiana’s – that’s right, Netflix’s bingers dream has returned for nine more episodes of small town life with a Lovecrafty spin.
So find out what the boys thought about the return of all of the kids we know with a few folks we were equal parts thrilled and horrified to see.
So get your eggos and settle in – it’s time to get our paddles.
Ok, here we demigo!
